She and her husband, Paul, are setting up a $5,000 SIU Day of Giving challenge for a newly established <strong>Teachers Shape the Future<\/strong> fund that will directly support teacher candidates.<\/p>\n<p>Mundschenk says she wants everyone to know that the Office of Teacher Education in the College of Education and Human Services works with faculty and staff across the university to prepare outstanding teacher candidates that graduate every year from SIU.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think some people don\u2019t realize that we have teachers who come from the College of Agriculture, the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Science, in addition to the College of Education and Human Services.
